The concept of"signature"is a useful tool to study the reliability properties of a coherent system.A mixture representation of the reliability function of conditional inactivity time of coherent system with n independent and identically distributed components was built in terms of the reliability functions of conditional inactivity times of order statistics.Based on the mixture representations,and then we carry out stochastic comparisons between the conditional inactivity time of two coherent systems with different structures or different component lifetimes.
