摘要
新闻英语新词语篇中存在许多隐喻现象。在阐述隐喻认知理论的基础上,探讨隐喻认知在新闻英语新词发展中的工作机制、现象归类、功能体现,以说明隐喻思维模式和新闻英语新词产生之间的关系,结合具体语境从体育类、经济类、计算机类实例现象阐释其隐喻认知效果,从而揭示隐喻认知机制对于新闻英语新词的重要作用。
There are many metaphors in the news English neologism.Based on the theory of metaphor cognition,this paper explores the working mechanism,phenomenon classifications and functions of metaphor cognition in the development of news English neologism to illustrate the relationship between metaphorical thinking patterns and news English neologism.The specific context explains the cognitive effect of metaphors from examples of sports,economy and computers to reveal the important role of metaphor cognitive mechanism in news English neologism.
