20世纪以来《后西游记》研究述评

Review of the Study of Post Journey to the West since the Twentieth Century

作为一部普遍被认为文学价值不高的《西游记》续作,作于清初的《后西游记》在清末明初出版时可谓繁荣,铅字排印本多,到了当代反而没有《续西游记》的通行本多,出版频率也不及《续西游记》频繁。一般而言,《后西游记》的早期评价不高,直到20世纪80年代,获得了海内外学人的关注,并重新思考其文学价值和意义。1992年,美国就有以《后西游记》为研究对象的博士论文。在这部很少被研究者关注的论文中,为《后西游记》纳入了比较文学的研究视角和方法。由此可见,《后西游记》的文学价值可被进一步的探索。

Journey to the West sequel is generally considered that the value of literature is not high.The publication of Post Journey to the West is prosperous at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,with numerous type printing version.In the present time,there are not many type printing version compared with the popular version of Subsequent Journey to the West,with less frequency of publication.Generally speaking,the early evaluation of Post Journey to the West is not high.Until 1980s,it gained the attention of scholars at home and abroad,and rethought its literary value and significance.In 1992,there was doctoral thesis in the United States with the study of Post Journey to the West.In this paper,which is rarely concerned by the researchers,the research perspectives and methods of comparative literature are included in the Post Journey to the West.Thus it can be seen that the literary value of Post Journey to the West can be further explored.
