《洛阳伽蓝记》外译考察

Investigation on the Translation of A Record of Buddhist Monasteries in Lo-Yang

典籍外译是"中国文化走出去"战略的重要方面,是建构"中国故事"的重要一环。《洛阳伽蓝记》作为重要的史地文学文献,其外译中需要深度处理的信息有很多。以《洛阳伽蓝记》"庄帝叙事"中的某些关键节点作为样例,考察王伊同和詹纳两个英译本中这种深度翻译处理的实况,同时阐释这种处理之于典籍国际化传播的文化效果。

Classics translation is an important part of“Chinese Culture Going Out”policy as well as the construction of“Chinese Story”.And as an important historical and geographical literary literature,the translation of A Record of Buddhist Monasteries in Lo-Yang involves many items which must be settled more deeply.Taking some key items in“Zhuangdi’s story”from A Record of Buddhist Monasteries in Lo-Yang,this paper investigates the actual thick translation settlements in its English translation by Wang Yitong and Jenner,and further explains their respective cultural function in the internationalizing process of Chinese classics.
