译者合作翻译探讨——以翻译《Smart Trust》个案为例

Discussion on the Translation by Translator Cooperation——Taking the Translation of "Smart Trust" as a Case

在外文著作翻译成中文时,越来越多的译者采用合作翻译的方式。译者合作不仅能够提高翻译质量,而且能够提高翻译效率。本文以翻译《Smart Trust》个案为例,提出了译者合作必须具备的"五个观念"——法律观念、时间观念、效率观念、质量观念、合作观念;必须遵守的"四个统一"——翻译标准统一、翻译风格统一、专有名词统一、术语统一。本文旨在抛砖引玉,为翻译实践和翻译教学提供一些有用的参考。

More and more translators adopt the method of cooperative translation in translating foreign writings into Chinese.Translator cooperation can not only improve the quality of translation,but also improve the translation efficiency.Taking the case of translating"Smart Trust"as an example,the author put forward the“five concepts”that the translator must have-legal concept,time concept,efficiency concept,quality concept and cooperation concept;the“four unifications”must be observed-unification of translation standards,translation styles,proper noun and terms.This paper aims to throw a sprat to catch a whale to provide some useful references for translation practice and translation teaching.
