Under the conditions of the new era,the rapid development of new media network platform has brought about tremendous changes in people’s lives.At the same time,it has also brought opportunities and challenges to the work of ideological and political education in universities.As the ideological and political educators who are at the forefront of the times,in the context of the new media network platform,we must grasp the pulse of the times and seize the opportunities brought by new media network platform in time,combine the conditions of the times,and enrich the theory and content of ideological and political education.The paper analyzes the background of ideological education in colleges and universities in the new era,discusses the advantages and disadvantages of ideological education in the era of new media network platform,and proposes ways to enhance the effectiveness of ideological education for college students.
