The economic growth of the ethnic minority area is boosted during the time of western develop-ment strategy.At the same time,people are aware of the necessity of the modem economic development of minority regions and are afraid of the impact of economic development on the traditional culture.To de-velop the economy or to protect the traditional culture,that is a question.In fact,the economic develop-ment of the ethnic minority area does not necessarily bound to the damage of the traditional culture.To correctly understand and deal with the relationship between the economic modernization and the protection of traditional culture is a major issue facing the minority areas at this stage.
