Confucius is the pioneer of Chinese traditional mainstream political thought,and Plato is a pio-neer of Western classical political thought.By comparing the"rites"and"justice",political system,politi-cal subject and political ideal in their political thoughts,this article summarizes the similarities and differ-ences of their political thoughts and summarizes their differences between Chinese and western politics.And interprets the great influence of civilization.
