摘要
"翻译专长"概念赋予传统的"翻译能力"概念以新的理论生命,扩展了翻译能力研究的理论视野,为翻译界讨论、理解和定义翻译能力及其发展提供了全新视角。翻译专长研究主要有"专家行为的实质研究"和"专家行为的发展研究"两大研究思路,通常取专家案例研究和专家-新手比较研究两种研究范式,近15年来已在专家译者的评价标准研究、翻译技能的构成研究、翻译技能的发展研究、翻译专家与新手的行为差异研究等领域取得了令人瞩目的成果,但同时也呈现出一些值得研究者关注的问题与挑战。
After around 15 years of development,translation expertise studies has now been acknowledged as an important area of Cognitive Translatology,with its own specific research frameworks,paradigms,and methods.Rooted in expertise theories of Cognitive Psychology,“translation expertise”provides a fresh perspective for translation scholars to approach translation competence and its development.Distinctive research findings have been achieved in areas such as criteria for experts identification,modeling the components of translation competence,modeling translation competence acquisition and development,and expert-novice comparison in the translation process.The paper also points out existing problems in translation expertise studies and ends by giving suggestions to future researchers.
