摘要
本文主要分析奈保尔评论《萨郎波》的叙事伦理缺场策略,认为奈保尔主要从作品的东方主义叙事风格、古代宗教的妖魔化叙事特征和作家伦理关怀缺场的叙事艺术这三方面分析该小说。奈保尔对《萨郎波》的批评反映他对19世纪欧洲小说基于东方想象的解构批判立场,充分体现奈保尔以道德正义为圭臬的世界主义文学评论观。
This paper is mainly an analysis of Naipaul’s strategies of reviewing on narrative ethics absence in Salammbo and points out that Naipaul dissects Orientalism,demonized ancient religion and lack of morality in the novel.Naipaul’s criticism on Salammbo shows fully his cosmopolitan literary criteria of moral justice through his censuring of his oriental imagination in 19th European novels.
