《五代会要》是五代宋初著名政治家、史家王溥主持编纂,是研究五代历史的基本史料之一。《五代会要》所记载的史料大量采用实录,内容包括敕文、诏令以及各级官员的奏章等,史料的可信度较高。该书所记载史料有详有略,涵盖五代时期的社会方方面面,包括政治、经济、自然灾害以及社会文化习俗制度等。因而,对《五代会要》的史学价值进行系统考察具有重要意义。
