民国初期娼妓问题初探——以上海(1911—1937)为视角

A PRELIMINARY STUDY OF PROSTITUTES IN THE EARLY DAYS OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHINA——FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF SHANGHAI(1911-1937)

近代娼妓业的发展几乎是与城市现代化进程相一致的,娼妓业可以直接反映出中国在进入半殖民地半封建社会后,原有社会经济的凋零和道德的沦丧。上海娼妓业的研究可以从侧面反映近代上海乃至整个中国城市发展、政局变迁。以民国初期上海妓女为切入点,试图窥探上海城市近代化发展,并期望对当今社会存在的问题提供解决思路。

The development of modern prostitution is almost consistent with urban modernization.Prostitution can reflect the collapse of the whole social economy and morality after China entered the semi-colonial and semi-feudal society.At the same time,the study of Shanghai brothel industry can reflect from one aspect the development and political changes of Shanghai and the whole Chinese cities.The article explores the modern development of Shanghai from Shanghai prostitutes in the early days of the republic of China,and hopes to provide solutions to social problems existing in modern society.
