在20世纪20-70年代的50余年里,世纪伟人毛泽东和声名远播的北京大学一直保持着密切的联系。为筹组湖南青年学生留法勤工俭学,毛泽东去京参加了北京大学的各种研究会,与众多名流学者有较多的交往和交流;在中年、晚年时期,他又多次去信,给予北京大学特别的关心、关注。毛泽东与北京大学所发生的故事,已经成为中国近现代史上值得特别书写与铭记的篇章。

During 1920s to 1970s,the great man of the century Mao Zedong and prestigious Peking University maintained close ties in more than 50 years.For preparing the work and study program in France for the Hunan youth students,Mao attended various seminars of Peking University in Beijing,had more contacts with many celebrities and scholars;and in his middle and old age,he wrote letters to give special care and attention to Peking University for many times.The rich stories of Mao Zedong and Peking University have become an important chapter worthy of special writing and memory in modern Chinese history.
