Process and Mechanism of UV-Assisted Adsorptive Desulfurization

摘要 将紫外光引入吸附脱硫技术,开发出一种新型光辅助吸附脱硫工艺。以TiO_2为吸附剂,采用光辅助吸附脱硫工艺对模拟燃油进行深度脱硫研究。穿透实验结果显示,TiO_2吸附剂在光辅助吸附脱硫工艺下较传统吸附脱硫条件下的性能提高了近1倍。气相色谱-脉冲火焰光度检测器(GC-PFPD)结果显示,在光辅助条件下,液相无光催化氧化产物生成。通过X射线光电子能谱(XPS)及原位红外光谱(in-situ IR)研究光辅助吸附脱硫机理,发现紫外光能有效降低化学吸附水分子数量,并增加活性端羟基Ti(IV)-OH的数量,有利于吸附脱硫。 photo-assisted adsorptive desulfurization technique was developed by introducing UV(ultra-violet)into adsorptive desulfurization(ADS)processes.Ultra-deep desulfurization with TiO2 as the adsorbent was studied through photo-assisted adsorptive desulfurization using model fuels as samples.Breakthrough results indicate that the sulfur removal capacity of TiO2 with UV-assisted ADS is increased by 50%than traditional processes.GC-PFPD(gas chromatography pulsed flame photometric detector)results demonstrate that no photo-oxidative product is formed in the liquid phase.XPS(Xray photoelectron spectroscopy)and in-situ IR analysis were applied to study the mechanism.The results indicate that the amount of chemisorbed H2O molecule decreases,while the total number of terminal Ti(IV)-OH groups increases under UV irradiation,which can enhance the desulfurization capacity of TiO2.
