The Impact of Sino-Indian Water Resources Disputes on the Sino-China Relations——A Case Study of the Yalu Tsangpo River-Brahmaputra River

处于崛起中的两大亚洲国家中国和印度随着经济的快速发展对水资源的需求量持续增长。但两国之间的界河雅鲁藏布江-布拉马普特拉河水资源有限,中国和印度在如何开发利用并分配其水资源等问题上产生纷争。印度炒作的"中国水利威胁论"涉及两国间的政治互信及领土争端,跨境水资源问题由此演变为水政治问题。

The need for water resources in both China and India,the two rising Asian countries,keeps growing with the rapid development of their national economy.Nevertheless,limited is the water supply from the Yalu Tsangpo River-Brahmaputra River cross-bordering China and India,triggering water disputes between the two countries concerning how to develop and allocate its water resources.Since India’s speculation of“China water threat theory”involves the political mutual trust and territorial disputes between the two countries,the cross-border water resources dispute has deteriorated into water politics.
