近代慈善公益概念的形成及其内涵探析

The Formation and Connotation of the Concept of Charity in Modern China

学术界已有的研究成果并未形成对中国近代慈善公益的清晰界定,影响了慈善史研究的进一步深入。在近代社会巨大变革的背景下,慈善逐渐融合于公益事业中,出现了公益慈善、慈善公益等概念。相比较而言,中国近代慈善公益内涵主要有两方面,一是仁爱之念仍是其核心理念,二是其着手点和着眼点都强调社会大众的利益,是为推动整个社会发展而作的努力。

In its research,the academic community has not formed a clear definition of charity in modern China,which has prevented the further research of charity history.In the context of dramatic transformations of modern society,charity was gradually integrated into public welfare undertakings.As for China's modern charity,on the one hand,the idea of benevolence is still its core concept and on the other hand,it focuses on public interests and an effort to promote the social development in all respects.
