With the continuous development of science and technology and the rapid progress of computer technology,the application mode,application way and application effect of information technology in teaching are becoming more and more diversified.English is a universal language,there are some special characteristics in teaching,it requires students to cooperate in listening,speaking,reading and writing.The introduction of multimedia technology into English classroom teaching,not only can improve the students'interest in learning and make the classroom more rich and colorful,but also is a revolution of the traditional teaching mode,provides a new form of teaching and teaching methods for students.
