Along with the carrying business process of IP communication network,telecom operators started the whole business operation strategy,which requires the construction of metropolitan area network transmission platform with QoS security capabilities,PTN with its advanced technology and has become the preferred route network.The author first analyzes the evolution and development trend of network business IP bearing,technical characteristics and advantages of PTN network,and then discusses the application mode of PTN technology in IP network,helps full service IP metropolitan area network construction work vigorously.
