The Prosperity of Higher Education in Jiangsu in Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties

宋元明时期是中国古代高等级教育制度得以逐渐完善,也是江苏古代高等级教育事业发展的繁盛阶段。尽管在朝代更迭时期,江苏地区有所动乱,高教事业受到一定波折,但总体观察,其进步的趋势十分明显,在某些方面达到了全国领先的水平。明代,江苏的高等级教育一直保持全国第一的水平,为清代江苏高等级教育的发展打下了良好的基础。

In the Song,Yuan and Ming Dynasties,the higher educational system in China was gradually perfected.It was also the flourishing stage of the development of higher education in ancient Jiangsu.Despite the chaos and frustrations resulted from the change of the dynasties,Jiangsu s higher education on the whole experience obvious progress,and led the country in some respects.In the Ming Dynasty,the high grade education in Jiangsu was always the leader of the country,laying a sound foundation for that in the Qing Dynasty.
