In The Subsidized Culture:Cultural Patronage System and Institution Design from International Perspectives,the latest theoretical accomplishments from the intellectual circle and the practical problems of China s cultural development were integrated into the research on policies about the public culture for the purpose of exploring China s institutional innovation about cultural patronage.The book sorted out the history and theoretical basis about cultural patronage,summarized the experience of representative developed countries and regions in cultural patronage and fully investigated the current conditions of cultural patronage in China.Besides,some advice was proposed.For example,the culture budget supervision system should be used to provide institutional guarantee for the financial investment of cultural development.The institutional development can promote the diversity of investors and investment methods.At last,the author captured the necessary knowledge resources and empirical reference for the current development and future optimization of China s cultural patronage system.
