职业教育是教育的类别之一。教育产生于矛盾,早期的职业教育是为了解决生计矛盾而出现,后来逐渐成为一种促进社会高速发展的人才培养模式。职业教育纵贯中国的几千年历史,在不同的历史时期有不同的表现形式,也有不同的历史功能和现实功能。在当代,职业教育具有重要的实践意义。新时期的职业教育是在马克思主义指导下的中国特色社会主义的职业教育,它在新时期的本质仍然是促进就业、服务社会。目前,我国探索出了一条符合中国特色的职业教育发展道路,职业教育正在实现跨越性发展,进入高速发展阶段。

Vocational education is a category of education.Education was developed as the result contradiction.The early vocational education was developed to solve the contradiction of making a living,and later,it gradually evolved into a talent cultivation mode to promote the society to develop rapidly.Vocational education has been conducted for thousands of years in Chinese history,showing various forms in different historical periods and playing various historical and practical functions.Nowadays,vocational education shows important practical significance.In the new era,vocational education is guided by Marxism and embodies Socialism with Chinese Characteristics,whose nature is still promoting employment and serving the society.Nowadays,we have found a new way for the development of vocational education with Chinese characteristics.Vocational education is developing astride eras and has entered the stage of rapid development.
