口腔健康相关生活质量(OHRQOL)是反映口腔疾病及防治对患者身体功能、心理功能和社会功能等方面影响的综合评估。OHRQOL主要依赖具有良好信度、效度和反应度的标准化量表来进行评定。错畸形及正畸治疗与患者OHRQOL密切相关:错畸形会带来颜面部畸形,影响患者美观及自信;患者在正畸治疗过程中牙齿的移动及矫治器的存在会带来一定的功能限制、生理疼痛、心理不适、社会功能障碍;治疗后整体生活质量又会有所改善。随着医学模式的改变,患者治疗过程中的主观感受逐渐得到重视。

Oral health-related quality of life(OHRQOL)is a comprehensive assessment of the effects of oral disease and prevention on patients′physical,psychological and social functions.It mainly depends on a standardized scale with good reliability,validity and responsiveness.Malocclusion and orthodontic treatment are closely related to OHRQOL.Malocclusion will lead to facial malformation,which will affect the beauty and self-confidence of patients.During orthodontic treatment,the movement of teeth and the existence of the appliance will bring functional limitation,physiological pain,psychological discomfort and social dysfunction.After treatment,the overall quality of life will be improved.With the change of the medical model,patient feeling in the treatment process has drawn more and more attentions.
