This paper described the general situation of Guandi field in Xishan mining area and the governance background of water accumulation in old empty area of small coal mines.The methods and principles for the comprehensive treatment of water accumulation in old empty area of small coal mines and their practical application and treatment effects in Guandi Coal Mine were discussed in this paper.
