Taking the book Suzhou Traditional Book Collection Culture by Cao Peigen for reference,this paper reviews the research overview of private collections in Suzhou,and summarizes its characteristics and achievements in the study of Suzhou’s traditional book collection culture from three aspects,such as the systematic and comprehensive study of private collection history in Suzhou,the in-depth and characteristic research of regional collection of books,and the academic and innovative study of traditional collection of books.
