Cataloging and Research of Chinese Folk Literature in France:Review and Prospect

中国俗文学文献是法藏汉籍的重要组成部分,中国学者对此类文献的关注始于1920年代,并取得了一定成果。但迄今为止,法国的部分图书馆仍旧没有完善的中文藏书目录,而已有的书目对于小说、戏曲、曲艺、说唱等,往往归类不明,著录有误,导致学者难以利用。故而,亟需对法国各地所藏俗文学文献进行全面、系统的寻访,汇纂编目,为海内外学者提供更加丰富翔实的研究资料,推动相关研究的深化。法藏中国俗文学文献的研究,除了集中对珍本、孤本文献进行挖掘和深入考证以外,还应当向书籍传播史等方面拓展。

Chinese folk literature is an important part of Chinese book collections in France.Chinese scholars began to paid attention to them from the 1920s and obtained good research achievements.However,there is still no complete catalog of collections of Chinese books in French libraries.The classifications of novels,dramas and operas appeared in selected catalogs are not clear and the descriptions are sometimes inaccurate.It is hard for scholars to locate them.Therefore,there is a need for conducting a thorough and systematic investigation on Chinese folk literature in France.If a complete catalog is compiled,it can provide better research support for domestic and overseas scholars.In addition,the study of Chinese folk?literature in France focuses not only on the classical literature,especially on those rare or only existing copies,but also on the history of dissemination of books,as well as the French scholar’s research findings.
