闽南家族文化南洋传播的变化

Discussions on the Changes of Minnan Family Culture in Southeast Asia

颇有特色的闽南家族文化,随着明清时期闽南各家族大量族裔迁移南洋,在南洋群岛广泛传播,并不断承袭下来。闽南宗亲在南洋传承的家族文化,倘若与闽南祖地相比较,基本宗旨固然没有本质不同,然而,复生和存在环境条件的重大变异,使其从家族组织形式、组织制度、祠堂修造、族谱编修,以至家族活动内容和方式等方面,均发生了较大变化。这些变化,对于闽南宗亲在南洋凝聚更大的群体力量,对于中华传统文化在南洋宗亲社会的广泛传承,对于南洋宗亲爱国爱乡传统的光大弘扬,皆有不可否认的积极意义。

Along with the mass migration of Minnanese into Southeast Asia,the unique Minnan family clutre has been widely spread and inherited there.Generally speaking,there is no essential difference between Minnan family culture in Southeast Asia and that in Southern Fujian.However,due to its different circumstances,Minnan family culture in Southeast Asia has been undergoing changes in many aspects,such as the form and institution of family organizations,the building and repairing of ancestral halls,the compilation and revision of genealogies,and the details of family reunion activities.Such changes have played a positive role in the greater unity of Minnanese in Southeast Asia,the better inheritance of traditional Chinese culture there,and the wider expanding of the homeland loving tradition among Southeast Asian Chinese.
