法学学术团体,在近代中国法学领域扮演着舆论工具与宣传媒介的重要角色。这些学术团体面对国家的危局和西方法学学术的引介,以其具有的作用及功能,承担起"救时济世"和"昌明法学"的时代使命。其莫不秉承研究法学原理、探求法律学术之信念,以整治中国法政的衰状与乱象,实施近代中国的法治基础建构。特别是民国时期的法学学术团体,几乎都怀抱"合力求知"与"合群救国"的意旨,追求民族、国家不亡以及法律民族化和建立"中国新法系"的神髓和灵魂,成为建立中国现代法学体系和"依法治国"进程中不可缺少的生力军。近代法学学术团体丰富了具有中国气派的法学文化,并为其奠定了牢固的根基,值得复兴与传承。

Legal academic societies,as instruments and media in the field of legal studies,played an important role in modern Chinese history.In the face of national crisis and the impact of western legal science,they undertook the mission of“saving the Chinese nation”and“developing the science of law”by giving play to their role as the media and performing their legal functions.Through the study of legal theories and exploration of legal issues,they tried to find a solution to the numerous problems in the fields of law and politics in China.In the Republic of China era,almost all legal academic societies had made great efforts to revitalize China,achieve the nationalization of law and establish“the new Chinese legal system”.Consequently,they had been the main force in the Sinicization of western law and the establishment of the modern law system at that time.
