After the eighteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping was elected General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee.The state began to attach great importance to the commemoration and interpretation of anti-Japanese war.Mr.Xi not only participated in various commemorative events,published commemorative speech,the state also has specifically identified the Chinese People’s Anti-Japanese War Victory Day,the Anniversary of Martyrs,the Nanjing Massacre Victims National Memorial Day through legislation,and held a rather grand commemoration.Xi’s New Era of Anti-Japanese War commemorates the social functions of remembering historical facts,shaping national image and coordinating international relations.The new era of anti-Japanese War Memorial also has the concept of pursuing the idea of peace,realizing national rejuvenation,highlighting the status of CCP,paying attention to the value of life and other commemorative value from the world,ethnic,political,personal,and so on.The new era of anti-Japanese War Memorial is to adapt to the New Era of social environment,political situation and other needs,as much as possible to highlight the function of the anti-Japanese war and enhance the War commemorative value.
