加拿大高等教育特点及中加高等教育国际比较研究

The Characteristics of High Education of Canada and the Comparison with China

本文主要分析了加拿大高等教育的特点并将中加高等教育进行了简单对比。加拿大虽然与美国毗邻,但高等教育却以公立教育为主;职业教育注重产学合作和学徒式教育,与企业密切合作,提高学生的职业技能,为区域经济发展输送人才;加拿大在教育上的分权制赋予了高校高度自主办学权,区域特性和较弱的省际竞争刺激,使得加拿大的各省立大学在教育上呈现均衡状态。中国和加拿大的高等教育,在大学和专科的区分、在校实践安排和与初等教育的衔接上具有显著的差异。

This paper mainly analyzes the characteristics of Canadian higher education and makes a comparison on higher education between China and Canada.Public education dominates in Canada despite its neighbor America exhibits a preferential development in private education.Cooperative and apprenticeship programs in vocational education work closely with local companies,aiming to enhance the occupational skills of students and export high-quality labor force for regional economic development.Decentralization in education administration generates high level autonomy of provincial universities embodying locality and weak stimulation for provincial competition and thus presenting equilibrium in educational performance.Chinese and Canadian higher education show significant difference in university and college,social practice arrangement and linkage with elementary education.
