为了顺应全球化趋势,服务于中国石油企业"走出去"和国家"一带一路"倡议,石油工程专业英语课程的设立为高校培养国际化人才提供了基础。然而,由于课程内容广泛性和兼具"专业"及"英语"双重教学任务的特点,为课程的教学提供了难点;同时,由于课程概论性和多元性的特点,也为课程教学内容设置提供了灵活调整的空间。在教学活动实践中,可以通过网络信息化技术及时了解学生基础及进展,设置多元化教学内容满足学生差异化学习需求,提炼研讨学习内容,建立翻转课堂模式,合理考核学生各环节掌握程度,不断提高石油工程专业英语课程教学质量。

Petroleum English course provides a necessary foundation to educate the qualified undergraduate students,who can understand the inevitable tendency of globalization and serve for the national proposal of"One Belt One Road".The difficulties to teach this course lies in its dual tasks on both professional knowledge and general English.In the meanwhile,this course has its flexibility to design the teaching content due to the generalization characteristics.The teaching performance can be improved by knowing the background of the students,diversifying the teaching methods and establishing reasonable examination system.
