On the Volunteer Slogan in the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games and Its Enlightenment from the Perspective of Eco-translatology

本文提及并大致阐述了翻译中一个新的理论学说——生态翻译学,并借助这一新的视角——生态翻译学视角及其"三维"原则——语言维、文化维、交际维三个层面和"适应性选择""选择性适应""多维度适应性选择"等原则对南京青奥会志愿者口号进行了分析和阐释,希望生态翻译学这一学说得到更多关注和重视,并且还希望对其他志愿者口号的翻译和广大公示语的翻译有所帮助和启示。

This article refers to and outlines a new theoretical theory in translation– Eco-translatology.With the new perspective-the perspective of Eco-translatology studies and its“three-dimensional”principles-linguistic dimension,cultural dimension,and communicative dimension,and the principles of“adaptive selection”“selective adaptation”“multidimensional adaptive selection,the article analyzes and explains the volunteer slogan in the Nanjing Youth Olympic Games.We hope that Eco-translatology will receive more attentions and focuses.And we also hope that there will be enlightenment and help to the translations of other volunteer slogans and public signs.
