Painful Verification of Identity:The Study on Beloved by Toni Morrison

《宠儿》是美国黑人女作家托尼·莫里森的代表作,小说中的黑人在各自身份求证的过程中都饱受苦难的折磨。莫里森通过《宠儿》主要人物的身份求证探索了黑人未来方向的问题。

Beloved was a masterpiece of Toni Morrison,a famous American black female writer.All the black people in the novel suffered from tortures,harm and mistreatment in the process of identity verification.Based on the analysis on the main characters’painful verification,this paper intends to explore how to keep the black people out of the trauma,and reveal their pursuit of the identity in Beloved and Morrison’s exploration of the black people’s future.
