摘要
《汤姆·索亚历险记》以孩童的视角描述了主人公汤姆的一段生活经历。根据新弗洛依德学说代表人霍妮的观点,儿童与社会间的冲突是造成其成长问题的根本所在。汤姆的困境揭示出社会文化对于儿童性格塑造的影响,同时也表明小说作者的成长经历也是该小说成功的一个因素。
The novel The Adventures of Tom Sawyer describes a life period of Tom Sawyer from the perspective of a child.As the pioneer of the new Freudian theory,Karen Horney assumes that the conflict between children and society is the key factor for their growth.Tom’s dilemma reveals the social effects on the building of children’s character.At the same time,the author’s personal experience also contributes to the success of this novel.
