新四军的神秘人物吴奚如

The Figure of Wu Xiru in the New Fourth Army

全面抗战爆发后,吴奚如先后担任八路军西北战地服务团副主任、中共中央长江局参谋处友军工作组组员和周恩来的政治秘书。在新四军军部驻扎皖南泾县云岭的后期,吴奚如担任第三纵队政治部主任。吴奚如在皖南事变中突围脱险,后辗转抵达重庆。作为皖南事变的亲历者,吴奚如从第三纵队政治部主任这一中高级干部的视角,向中共南方局写了一份《对皖变我失败之主观原因报告》,对新四军在皖南事变中惨败的主观原因作了深刻的剖析,对新四军军长叶挺在皖南事变中的表现作了充分的肯定。这份报告为后人研究皖南事变提供了一份十分珍贵的重要文献。

After the outbreak of Anti-Japanese War,Wu Xiru worked as the vice director of Northwest Field Service Regiment of Eighth Route Army,member of the working committee of Yangtze Bureau of CPC and political secretary of Zhou Enlai.He was the director of the political department during the Southern Anhui Incident,when he had a narrow escape from death and transferred to Chongqing.As the witness of the brutal incident,Wu Xiru wrote an in-depth report on the subjective reasons for the failure,and confirmed the decisions made by Ye Ting,the New Fourth Army Commander.This report is a valuable and important document for future studies on the incident.
