正气虚弱是恶性肿瘤发生的首要原因,并且与肿瘤的发展和转归有明确关系。临床以补虚扶正为法运用扶正类中药能够取得显著疗效。另外,除了改善患者体质、增强抵御病邪能力的作用,某些扶正类中药还具有直接杀伤肿瘤细胞的作用,如抑制肿瘤细胞增殖、诱导分化、促进凋亡、抑制肿瘤血管生成和逆转肿瘤细胞耐药等。
