批判与反思:从被异化的期刊评价到期刊学术使命的回归

A Critical Reflection and Analysis:From Heterization in Academic Journal Appraisal to Regression of Academic Missions of Journals

针对当前期刊评价被异化的现状,对学术期刊的学术使命和社会责任进行反思和理性审视。期刊评价被异化的两个方面"核心期刊崇拜"和"影响因子狂热"是需要批判的,但与批判相比,学术期刊更需要的是反思,反思以刊评文为何走向了不合理,反思人为操纵影响因子给学术期刊的生态带来的危害。由以文评文走向以刊评文,更需要学术期刊尽到"守门"责任;人为操纵影响因子的种种异化现象,其实质是学术期刊学术使命的异化,更呼唤其社会责任的回归。

This paper aims to reflect on and reasonably review the missions and social responsibilities of academic journals in view of the current situation of the heterization in the appraisal of academic journals.To argue for the appro?priate stance that academic journals should take in the face of appraisal systems by analyzing two aspects of the herter?ization in appraisal of journals by exemplification.The worship towards core journals and the craze in impact factor should be subject to criticisms.However,in comparison with criticisms,reflections are more valuable.The author argues that the reflections should focus on the inappropriateness of judging the quality of academic papers by the fame of jour?nals as well as the harm done by manipulation of impact factor to the ecology of journals.The tendency of appraising academic papers not by the quality of papers but by the fame of journals calls for the due sense of responsibility of the editorial board,the regression of the social responsibilities of academic journals.
