Fundmentals of Materials Science and Engineering is basic course for polymer materials and engineering major.This paper analyzed the current situation of this course,illustrated the necessity of teaching reform,and introduced the reform and the practice of our school's curriculum optimization,such as the reform of teaching methods,currurricula system adjustment,teaching content and teaching methods.
