The development of new-type urbanization is an important development strategy of China in the 21st century.The walkway design in public space of the new type of urbanization should proceed from the experience and demand of the surrounding residents,adhere to the design principle of"people-oriented first,green ecology",and create the public space for livelihood and leisure for the groups of different ages and different needs.
