Objective To investigate the related factors influencing compliance of diabetic patients with drug therapy. Methods 168 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus admitted in our hospital from August 2016 to July 2017 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into two groups according to the good or bad compliance of drug therapy. The two groups were compared in terms of sex, age, course of disease, the level of cognition, the type of medication, the times of taking medicine and the monthly income, and analyzed the related factors affecting the compliance of the patients. Results Among the 168 patients,50 had good compliance with drug treatment,118 cases had poor compliance with drug treatment, the age of the patients with poor compliance, the number of medication and the number of medication were higher than those with good compliance, while the cognitive level and monthly income of the patients were lower than those of the patients with good compliance. It has statistical significance(P<0.05).After analysis, the main reasons for poor treatment compliance were age, medication type, frequency of medication, low level of cognition and low monthly income. Conclusion There are many factors affecting the compliance of the patients with diabetes. We should take specific measures according to the actual situation of the patients in order to improve the compliance of the patients,so as to ensure that the blood sugar level of the patients can be controlled within the permitted range.
