Two Proofreading Notes on Chu Slips

郭店简《穷达以时》简10"■馰张山"的"馰"应该读为"靮",意思是马缰绳,用为动词,指用马疆绳把马束缚住。上博简《用曰》简17"佥之不骨而庶之亦不能"中的"骨"应该释为"肯","庶"应该释为"■",读作"擅",意思是和众人共同享有的话不愿意,而一个人专擅又不能够。

The di(馰)of ji di zhang shan(■馰张山),which exists in the tenth slip of qiong da yi shi(穷达以时)on guo dian(郭店)slips,should be read as di(靮),means horse’s bridle,and it is a verb.In the qian zhi bu gu(骨)er shu(庶)zhi yi bu neng,which exists in the seventeenth slip of yong yue on shang bo slips,gu(骨)should be interpreted as ken(肯),while shu(庶)should be written as■and read as shan(擅).The whole sentence means that sharing with others is not the will,but doing it alone is not appropriate.
