大运河遗产化与当下的中华文明复兴——兼谈大运河文化带建设的有关问题

Heritagizing the Grand Canal and the Rejuvenation of Chinese Civilization——some opinions on the construction of the cultural belt of the grand canal

在中国历史上,大运河以航运、防洪、灌溉和生态涵养等功能,成为华夏腹心地带的主动脉。漕运功能终结后的大运河开启了遗产化过程,实现了运河功能与价值的延伸与转化。以列入文物保护单位、成功申报世界文化遗产为标志,中国大运河蕴含的突出而普遍的价值开始在更高层面更广泛地被世人关注、研究和弘扬,其保护与活用问题也成为新的时代命题。建设大运河文化带,一是要充分认识运河功能的变与不变;二是要处理好运河本体与其荷载的信息、价值以及人的需求与发展的相互关系,处理好保护与利用、本地需求与外来旅游等关系;三是探索在宏观和微观层次上缔结人与运河的新型关系,形成对运河文化带的全面深刻认识和系统科学定义,将大运河文化带作为国家中东部复兴战略的核心和实现中华文明复兴的地标性工程来建设。

The Grand Canal is very import because of its shipping,flood controlling,irritation and ecological functions during two thousand years in Chinese history,so it can be looked as the main artery of the ancient Chinese civilization.After the end of its shipping grain function of the central government,the canal become a heritage and developed out many new historic,scientific,art and social values and functions.When it was enlisted as the national key cultural relic protection unit and world cultural heritage,these new functions and values are recognized by more people,and the research,protection and reasonable reuse of them become more argent in the rapid developing modern society.Constructing the cultural belts of grand canal is an important strategy and measure to achieve these goals.So firstly,we must improve the systematic research of the Grand Canal and its changing role and functions;secondly,we must cope with the relationships between protection and usage,local and foreign tourists etc.correctly;thirdly,we should try to construct a new relationship between the Grand Canal and the modern society and its people,and try to revival the eastern and central China and Chinese civilization by the contribution of the construction of the cultural belt.This is a very important social engineering work.
