Dignity Ethics in the Process of Building an Overall Well-off Society

在解决民众物质生活"过得去""过得好"的同时,全面建成小康社会也应该考虑民众如何过得有尊严、活得更幸福的问题。有尊严的幸福生活是"体面"的生活。"体面"的生活不仅是物质富裕、心理自尊的私人生活,也是道德合宜、相互尊重的公共生活。体面伦理建设不仅要培育民众追求合宜"体面"的道德素养,也要求国家和社会对民众追求的合宜"体面"发挥其伦理的导引作用,特别是要倡导并营造尊重劳动的社会风尚,树立劳动光荣的价值导向,让所有民众在尽其所能的自觉劳动中感悟并体现其合宜的"体面"。

While making people“living well”,we should take how people can live with dignity and more happily into consideration in building an overall well-off society.A happy life with dignity is a“decent^life.“Decent”life is not only a private life of material wealth and psychological self-esteem,but also a public life of moral fitness and mutual respect.The building of dignity ethics is not only to cultivate people the pursuit o““de-cent”appropriate moral accomplishment,but also call for the state and society play a role of its ethical guidance for people to pursue appropriate“decent^life,in particular to advocate social customs and build respect for la-bor,establish value orientation of labor glory,so that all people can comprehend and reflect appropriate“de-cent”life in their conscious labor.
