This paper,in the light of Saul Bellow’s Mr.Sammler’s Planet,explores the multiple trauma of the Jewish massacre in World War II to Mr.Sammler as the witness and victim,not only physically but also mentally and morally,showing the traumas brought by the war to the people and showing attention to the value of individual life.
