摘要
《在流放地》是卡夫卡十分重要的一篇短篇小说,以往的读解或是忽略了"机器"这一重要元素,或是对"机器"的分析不够深入。事实上,"机器"在该小说中举足轻重,从"机器"切入,便可发现卡夫卡在这篇小说中深入探讨了科技与极权的同构关系以及科技和极权对人性的异化:极权促进了科技的发展,而科技的发展则进一步加强了极权,科技沦为极权的统治工具,成为一种新的意识形态与统治逻辑,在极权和科技的双重统治下,统治者与被统治者的人性均被异化。
In the Penal Colonyis one of Kafka’s important short stories.The previous interpretations either ignore the“machine”in the story or fail to analyze it thoroughly.“Machine”actually plays a key role in the story,from which we can find that Kafka explores the mutual relationship between totalitarianism and science-technology.Totalitarianismpromotes science-technology,and the development of the latter strengthens the former.Science-technology is changed into a powerful tool of totalitarianism,and becomes a new ideology and logic of ruling.Under the rule of sciencetechnology and totalitarianism,the ruler and the ruled are both alienated.
