本文试图把哈特·克兰著名的情诗《航行》诠释成一首依附在浪漫主义传统下的追寻罗曼司。《航行》最终完成了从外在的追寻罗曼司到内在的追寻罗曼司的转变,诗歌的主人公从一个在不完满的尘世中苦苦寻觅一个虚幻永恒的追寻者,转变成了一个以想象力重铸世间万物的诗人,在这一过程中,主人公对待自然的歧异态度扮演了至关重要的角色。

This paper attempts to reinterpret Crane’s famous love poem“Voyages”as a quest romance that is deeply attached to the romantic tradition.According to this paper,the poem finally completes a conversion from an external quest romance into an internalized quest romance.Consequently,the protagonist of the poem transforms himself from a quester in quest of an illusory ideal into a poet who uses his imagination to reconstruct the world.The protagonist’s ambivalent attitudes towards nature plays an important role in this process of transformation.
