Introduction of American Fellowship Training

美国医学毕业生经过住院医师规范化培训后,根据专科的不同,还有很多的专科培训(Fellowship)供医师继续深造。专科培训的最终目的是培养合格的、同质化的,能独当一面的临床专科医师。美国专科培训大约有89个专业有专科资质认证,由美国的24个医学专业资格认证委员会统管。美国绝大部分专科培训基地和培训专科由美国毕业后医学教育认证委员会(ACGME)监管。本文对ACGME认证的各个专科培训的培训年限、专科培训申请及配对、专科培训基地监管和专科培训具体实例、专科培训医师的薪酬待遇、特殊专科培训基地做了相应的介绍。

Fellowship training is a period of medical training in the United States for residents who have finished standardized residency training.The purpose of fellowship training is to transform residents into eligible and uniformed clinical subspecialists who could practice independently.Eighty-night medical subspecialties fellowship qualification can be certified by twenty-four American Board of Medical Specialties.Most fellowship training programs and training bases are supervised by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education(ACGME).We introduced the training duration of various ACGME-accredited subspecialty fellowship training programs,application and match process,accreditation of training programs,one real example of fellowship training,salaries for fellows,and special fellowship programs in this article.
