With the development of Internet,the amount of information and data in modern society is growing at a rapid rate.Faced with the need to efficiently store and manage large amounts of data,the concept of Big Data came into being.Big data has seen matured application in video surveillance.In the urban management and public security system,it has played an important role.This paper introduces the principle of Intelligent Video Analytics and the Video Big Data platform technology.Through the practice in regional Smart Video Platform,an example was described.In the end,the existing technical defects and future development were listed.
