College physics competitions are not only the motivation to promote students'academic achievements but also the test agent for the physics teaching achievements in colleges and universities.This paper discusses the benefits and enlightenment of college physics competitions by summarizing such two aspects as students'competition awards and teachers'guidance experience,and discusses the methods and significance of college physics teaching.
