A Study on the Translation of Historical and Cultural Texts in the Tourist Resorts in Zhenjiang City: A Hermeneutic Perspective

镇江市的各个旅游景点近年来取得了很大的发展,但是景点中的历史文化的英语介绍并没有跟上国际化的步伐,而其中的不少问题可以借助阐释学的观点来加以研究。阐释学的研究着眼于读者在理解文本过程中的重要地位,从这个角度来指导分析翻译过程,就能把镇江旅游景点包含的历史文化信息更好地介绍给世界各地的游客。

The tourist resorts in Zhenjiang City have developed considerably in these days.However,the introduction to the historical and cultural content in English failed to catch up with the steps of internationalization of tourism.In this case,hermeneutic view is believed to work well in the study of the translation problems.The perspective borrowed here focuses on the role readers play during comprehension of the texts,and translation guided by it will perform better in broadcasting the historical and cultural information to the tourists from every corner of the world.
