明初考功监探微

Research on Kaogong Jian in the Early Ming Dynasty

考功监是明朝初期创设并短暂运行过的机构,明清史籍对其职责记载多语焉不详。文章通过勾稽零星史料,确认了考功监是一个近侍性质的考核机构。考功监应是在官员考核过程中负责覆核的机构,与吏部各司其职。在洪武年间官制大改革中,考功监的地位和重要性有所下降,演变成无关紧要的官员考核登记部门,这也可能是考功监最终被罢废的根本原因。

Kaogong Jian was a department created by the early Ming Dynasty and existed only for a short period.Our researches on Kaogong Jian were unclear due to the defect of historical records.There was a study on Kaogong Jian by many historical materials and draw a conclusion that Kaogong Jian was a department responsible for the whole government officials’evaluation similar to emperor’s retinue.Its specific responsibility was review and verifies the results of officials’evaluation,and closely related to Libu which in charge of officials’evaluation.Kaogong Jian’s authority and function were declined during the period of Hongwu emperor’s reform,and become a registration department in officials’evaluation,was been gradually removed and abolished.
